Cottage Kořenov 10 - chalupa na horách

Kořenov 10 is a mountain cottage on the border of the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains with accommodation capacity for up to 40 people, ideal for outdoor athletes, families with children, but also for larger groups, sports clubs and schools

The cottage is located in a location ideal for year-round sports activities such as cycling, hiking, cross-country skiing, slopes and ski alpines

The old mountain cottage, which stood as early as 1730, underwent partial reconstruction 15 years ago

It meets the basic standards where you can expect classic mountain accommodation for large groups

You will appreciate our old wooden common room, a large garden, wonderful views of the Krkonoše Mountains and the tranquility of the surroundings

For older children, we have a large trampoline (be careful there are no barriers around), a house and a sandpit

Behind the cottage is a large grassy field suitable for team games, training and for setting up tents, where other people can sleep or where party tents can be set up

Please note that 40 people is really the maximum use of the cottage with a mattress pad

About 30 people can be comfortably accommodated here

Do not hesitate to consult us about the capacity

Arrival and departure are always arranged individually

If the cottage needs to be cleaned, please leave the cottage by 10:00 a.m. If there are no previous or following guests, you can also check in in the morning and stay until the evening

Bed linen is included in the price

Please bring your own towels and slippers

Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the entire cottage, we have a few slippers to rent in the hall.

Accommodation in the Cottage

Bedrooms and rooms: On the ground floor there are two 4-bed rooms with a common lounge, a common room, a kitchen, a ski room and a sauna with a lounge

On the second floor there is a 4-bed, 3-bed and 9-bed room, all with their own bathroom

In addition, an apartment for up to 16 people, which has a large living room connected to the kitchen and sleeping area, two social rooms and a mattress store in the attic

16 people is the maximum capacity when the mattress camp is fully used

For a comfortable stay, we recommend approx. 10 people to the entire apartment.

Sanitary facilities: 7 sanitary facilities, of which 6 showers and 1 bathtub in the apartment.

Heating: Solid fuel boiler only

IT DOES NOT GET HOT IN SUMMER (May - September)! For an additional charge of CZK 300/day, you can use an electric direct heater in the room in summer or agree in advance on heating the entire cottage on cold days, in which case the winter price will be charged for the days during which it is heated.

Transportation, parking: To reach the cottage, after 400m from the Kořen saddle, turn right from the main road in the direction of Harrachov in front of the Čert hotel onto a gravel road

It is less than 200m away

Parking is possible directly in front of the cottage on the gravel, on the continued path upwards and in the previously described place in the adjacent meadow

Dining

After prior arrangement, breakfast, half board and full board can be arranged for large groups of about 15 people

There are many restaurants within walking distance around the accommodation

The common room also has a large fridge, tap and projector.

!!! HIGHER PRICE FOR OVER 24 PEOPLE: summer season - CZK 8,500, winter season - CZK 10,500, off-season - CZK 7,000

In the off-season, an additional charge of CZK 2,000/night is required if heating is required

Up to 24 people, the apartment will not be available and the maximum capacity of beds in the rooms will be used

If up to 24 people are interested in an apartment, the same price applies as for more than 24 people

10% discount for stays longer than 7 nights, not valid for reservations over New Year's Eve

Deposit of 50% of the price to make a reservation

If a refund is obtained, we will refund the entire amount of the deposit.

Pets extra CZK 350/night (can be adjusted by agreement).

Sauna 400 CZK/h

A deposit of CZK 5,000 is made upon arrival and is refundable upon departure if nothing was damaged during the stay

I recommend that guests take out liability insurance.
