The historic log house is part of the Na Radosti homestead, which lies hidden in the woods across the ridge from the road from Vimperek to Kvilda
The building is located in a large fenced area with its own volleyball court, sunken trampoline, sitting area with fireplace, grill and smokehouse
In summer, wild strawberries, cherries and summer apples ripen in the orchard and garden
The cottage offers complete peace and privacy in the middle of Šumava forests. It is family friendly with many extras especially for children.
The location of the log cabin allows for summer walks through deep Šumava forests full of mushrooms, blueberries and raspberries, cycling and swimming

Near the complex is the charming lake Kramata - an ideal place for swimming and fishing
In winter, you can cross - country ski directly from the log house and after approx. 800m you can reach the well - maintained cross - country road leading from Vimperk to Borová Lada or Nová Hutě
The downhill slopes in Zadov, Nove Hute, Kvilda, Kubova Hut or Mitterdorf in Germany are only a few minutes` drive from us.

Transportation, parking: Access via paved forest road, spacious disabled parking right next to the log house.
We strongly recommend winter tyres during the winter months.

Alternatively, you can eat in nearby Vimperk, where you will find several restaurants, cafes and pastry shops.
