Why My Cottage?

Our aim is to offer you a cottage where you will feel as if it were your own

Moje Chaloupka is a superior cottage (watch the video tour), located on large and landscaped plot, which is completely fenced

You can find it on the edge of the small village of Žďár near the Nalžovské mountains in the district of Klatovy

Žďár is part of the Plánicko microregion, which is located in Pošumaví and is thus an ideal gateway for discovering the beauty of Šumava

Moje Chaloupka offers barrier-free accommodation

All rooms are on the ground floor and are furnished with custom-made wooden furniture

The cottage was newly built with the help of the most modern technologies

Nevertheless, it retains the soul of a country house, the dominant feature of which is a stylish and spacious living room with a tiled stove and oven

It is heated all year round by a heat pump using floor heating in the entire living area, so you will arrive to a warm and fragrant cottage

It offers complete peace and a view of the surrounding meadows and forests

The landscape encourages both hiking and cycling

One of the many cycle paths that criss-cross the area runs around the property

We respect your privacy, which is why no one else is present at the cottage during your stay.

Bedrooms and rooms: Right behind the entrance to the building is a spacious hall that combines the kitchen corner, dining room and living room

Next to the living room is a pantry with a larger fridge, freezer and washing machine

Heating: The cottage is heated all year round with a ground-water heat pump, the entire living area has underfloor heating

In the common room there is a possibility to heat up with a Canadian stove.

Transportation, parking: A 2nd class road leads to the cottage

Right in front of the cottage there is a place for 4 cars.

Dining

In the living room there is a complete kitchenette equipped with a ceramic hob, convection oven, microwave oven, electric kettle, automatic bean coffee machine, dishwasher and, of course, plenty of usual dishes

8 people can eat comfortably at the dining table

Outdoor covered seating area with a wood-burning grill, on which you can also roast pork chops

Cottage furnishings

The property provides enough enjoyment despite the bad weather for both adults and children

Satellite TV + Netflix, Internet via WiFi available for free

In the common room: table football, table tennis, air hockey, darts, goals for floorball including hockey sticks and balls, bouncer, tricycles, scooters and a bicycle stand

In the living area: board games, toys and kits for small and large cottagers

At the cottage there is an outdoor pool of 3 x 6 m heated by a heat pump, it is open from the end of April to the end of October - depending on the weather

The pool has a 5 x 10 m covered roof

We also equipped the cottage with an outdoor Softub hot tub, which is located under the roof by the barn

The hot tub is in operation approximately from October to April

At the cottage, it is also possible to order a massage (neck, back or whole body)

From spring 2021, we also have an outdoor children's playground with a toboggan, a slide, three swings, a climbing wall and other elements

For smaller children, a house with a small slide and a sandpit.

Weekly stay: from Saturday 15:00 to Saturday 10:00

Weekend stay: from Friday 15:00 to Sunday 15:00 is possible only on advertised dates

For a weekly stay, there is a discount of CZK 1,000 for each unoccupied bed, including extra beds (14 beds), for example, for a family of 4, a discount of CZK 10,000 per week.

During a weekend stay, there is a discount of CZK 500 for each unoccupied bed, including extra beds (14 beds), for example, for a family of 4, a discount of CZK 5,000 per weekend.

Included in the price of the stay: firewood, consumed electricity, bedding, towels, bath towels, toilet paper, hand soap, disinfectant, detergents in the kitchen, towels, cleaning

After confirming the reservation, it is valid for a maximum of 5 working days

By this time, 50% of the price stated in the booking confirmation must be transferred to the operator's account

The additional payment must be paid to the operator's account no later than 7 days before the date of accommodation.

We charge cancellation fees only in case of cancellation by the client less than 30 days before the date of accommodation in the amount of 25% of the total price of accommodation stated in the booking confirmation.

At the beginning of the stay, the client pays a refundable deposit of CZK 5,000

The deposit is refundable upon final handover.
