Spacious holiday cottage in the Šumava Protected Landscape Area located in the settlement of Kůsov only two kilometers from the Zadov - Churáňov ski resort

The newly built, stylish building is equipped to a high standard, and its quiet location in a semi-secluded area with a large garden invites you to relax at any time of the year.

In the winter months, you will certainly appreciate the proximity of the Zadov ski area with a four-seater cable car, a children's nursery and dozens of kilometers of groomed cross-country trails, which you can board directly at the cottage

In the other months, you can follow marked hiking and cycling routes to the unforgettable natural beauties of the Šumava

The forests in the immediate vicinity of the cottage will tempt you to go mushroom picking or picking forest fruits

Cottage U Krešů has two above-ground floors

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with storage spaces and a drying room for 16 pairs of ski boots and a shared toilet

There is also a shared fully equipped kitchen with pantry, American fridge with freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob, microwave oven, automatic bean coffee machine, kettle and plenty of crockery

The kitchen is freely connected to a large common room with seating for all staying guests

There is a fireplace in the corner of the room, which you can use to make the atmosphere more pleasant on colder evenings

From the common room there is direct access to a covered terrace with an area of ​​32 square meters with stylish outdoor seating for the entire capacity of the cottage

On the ground floor there is also a two-room apartment (1st room with a double bed, 2nd room with two beds) with its own bathroom with shower and toilet

In the attic there are two two-room apartments, each with its own bathroom with shower and toilet

Each apartment in the attic always has one room with a double bed, a second room with three separate beds and a private bathroom with toilet

The cottage thus offers accommodation for 14 people with full-sized beds

A wooden cot is available for the little ones

In addition, one window in each room is equipped with a roll-up mosquito net

The cottage is surrounded by a large garden with a fireplace, a stream and part of the forest

The land is partially fenced

There is a covered parking space for three cars on the property with a large lockable bicycle and ski storage room

For children, there is a sandpit, an inSPORTline trampoline with a diameter of 366 cm and an outdoor table for table tennis

The salt water pool measures 7 x 3.7 m, is insulated and roofed, so the pool is suitable for swimming even on cooler summer days

The water temperature ranges from + - 25 degrees Celsius in the normal summer months

C, due to the location of the cottage at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level, the temperature of the pool cannot be guaranteed

Accommodation in the Cottage

Bedrooms and rooms: The beds are divided into 3 apartments, two apartments in the attic have a bedroom with a double bed 200x180cm and a spacious room with three beds 200x90cm, the third apartment on the ground floor has a bedroom with a double bed 200x180cm and a room with two beds 200x90cm

Each apartment has its own bathroom with shower and toilet

All beds have medical mattresses with a thickness of 20 cm suitable for allergy sufferers and slatted slats

Baby cots can be placed in any apartment

There is a common corridor and common room with a fully equipped kitchen.

Sanitary facilities: Each apartment has its own spacious bathroom with shower and toilet.

Heating: The cottage has hot water floor heating regulated to a comfortable temperature in all rooms

For the atmosphere of winter evenings, it is possible to warm up in the fireplace.

Transportation, parking: Covered parking for three cars and safe access even in the winter months

The nearest shop is in the village of Stachy, 3 km away

We highly recommend the restaurant Dobrá Chata Zadov (2km) for lunch and dinner

We also recommend the Pivovar Lyer Modrava restaurant and the Na saltné stezce Kašperské Hory restaurant

For lovers of ice cream or cakes, the Ella Zadov confectionery (4 km) just below Churáňov with a wonderful view.

The common room is equipped with stylish seating for the entire capacity of the cottage, a fireplace to make cold evenings more pleasant, HBB SMART TV with USB player, Wifi signal throughout the cottage

The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge-freezer, induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, stick blender and other usual equipment

For coffee lovers, a fully automatic De`Longhi bean coffee machine is available

The apartments are equipped with massive beds with quality mattresses with a thickness of 20 cm and with blankets and pillows suitable for allergy sufferers

All listed prices apply when the cottage is occupied by three families with children (e.g

6+6).

We will create an individual offer for other groups.

The cottage has rooms large enough for extra beds or cots

In the case of accommodation of persons exceeding the above capacity, we will create an individual offer.

Only small and medium dog breeds are allowed in the cottage by prior arrangement.

The accommodation price includes: bed linen, towels and bath towels per person, tea towels, kitchen equipment, tablets for the dishwasher, cleaning products, wood for the fireplace, final cleaning, electricity consumption up to 50 kWh/day and accommodation fee to the municipality.

The cottage is equipped with a 110l tank

hot water with continuous heating, i.e

that there is still plenty of hot water.

Heating is provided by electric hot water underfloor heating on both floors

The 7x3.7 m swimming pool is covered.

In case of excess consumption, the current price that we pay to EON is currently charged from 7/2024 - CZK 6/kWh.

Weekly stays alternating on Saturdays

During the summer holidays, only weekly stays Saturday-Saturday..

Arrival on the day of accommodation for weekly stays from 3 p.m.

Departure on the day of departure for weekly stays until 10.00 a.m.

For shorter stays, arrival and departure are possible in the afternoon by arrangement and subsequent stays.
