Cottage Stará hospoda

The original pub from the mid -19th century was located in the former Sudeten village of Skrbovice on the village square

After the displacement of the Sudeten Germans, she got into the property of the military forests of the Czechoslovak Republic and began to deteriorate

Also the surroundings, then very nice mountain villages, wasted

There was almost nothing left of the original village

In this pub, beer was tapped for the last time sometime in 1945.

Currently this cottage is after complete reconstruction and is the last house of the village

Behind her are just pastures and forests

It is an ideal place for a family holiday, whether sports or relaxing, meeting friends, family celebrations or a quick weekend relax from weekdays

The cottage is located 15km from Charles Studánka, which is considered a place with the purest air in the Czech Republic

This is one of the reasons why stay at our cottage will not only have a balm on the soul

On the ground floor of the cottage is a generous common room (former pub hall), which is equipped with modern kitchen, large dining table, seat and television

This room is followed by a larger porch

On the ground floor there is also one room for 4 - 5 people (bunk bed) and a large modern bathroom equipped with both the shower and the comfortable bath designed not only for relaxation

From the corridor along the original staircase we climb to the attic cottage, where there are two more rooms

One larger, for 4 persons, the other smaller, also for 4 people with folding beds

There is also a second toilet with a small sink upstairs

We can also prepare a travel cot and a feeding chair upon request

For children we have a play corner prepared in a common room

We believe that children will be sufficient for fun outside the cottage, in winter they can sled directly on the opposite hill

Next to the cottage we have prepared an outdoor seating area with a grill and a fireplace (roasting forks are available)

At the cottage there is a garden with an area of ​​500m2.

Pets like to welcome at our cottage by prior arrangement

We newly built a Finnish sauna with cooling tubs and a separate shower in the area below the veranda

The entrance to it is possible through the porch or through the French window from the garden.

Accommodation in the Cottage

Bedrooms and rooms: Three bedrooms with a capacity of 4 beds are available in the cottage

On the ground floor of the cottage is a spacious common room (pub hall), which is equipped with modern kitchen, large dining table, television seat and children's corner

On the ground floor there is also one room for 4 people (bunk bed) and a large modern bathroom equipped with both shower and comfortable bath designed not only for relaxation

From the hallway along the original staircase we climb to the attic cottage, where there is a spacious room

In the attic is the second smaller cozy room for 4 people.

Sanitary facilities: On the ground floor a large bathroom with toilet shower and bath, in the attic toilet with sink

Heating: Electric heating

Transportation, parking: parking at the cottage under the supervision of cameras

Cottage furnishings

For housewives: dishwasher with tablets, refrigerator, microwave, electric oven, ceramic hob, grain coffee (1kg coffee available), complete equipment, basic spices

The kitchen is also equipped with a spring, a sponge for dishes, cloths

For personal hygiene: towels, soaps, toilet paper

For mothers: the possibility of children's travel cots, feed chairs, children's dining set, bathtub, potty (please warn in advance)

For children: a children's corner in a common room with wooden toys

For culinary: charcoal grill (we get coal by agreement), fireplace, toasting forks, ax

For sauna lovers are available sheets in the sauna area, but for hygienic reasons in the sauna we do not have brushes and other gossip

Of course there is always clean bedding and towels in all rooms.

Availibility, fees, price specifications

Price includes: use of whole cottage, bedding, towels, hygienic supplies like toilet

Paper, liquid soap, jar, sponge in the kitchen, available coffee beans, the possibility of using the sauna (at the moment it is under construction).

The price does not include: consumed electricity (client takes the condition on the electricity meter on arrival and at departure 6.5/kWh) and accommodation fee 15CZK/person/day, final cleaning 1000CZK.
