Stylish farmhouse from 1860, sensitively renovated, with private grass atrium, sunken pool, adjacent stone barn and large well-kept garden with fruit trees (3000 m2) in the picturesque village of Rudice (near Blansko)

Rudice is located only 30 km from Brno, in the center of the Moravian Karst and is surrounded by forests, several lakes, caves, rocks and the flooded Seč quarry

Thanks to its generous layout, the cottage offers absolute privacy and is thus an ideal place for sports, active rest, but also lazing around and relaxing.

The cottage is spacious, has several indoor and outdoor seating areas, its own smokehouse, summer bar with refrigerator, outdoor fixed and mobile grill

In case of bad weather, you can use the barn with a bar, comfortable seating and a wonderful view of the garden

The sunken pool with wooden paneling in the privacy of the atrium is available to guests throughout the summer season and is regularly professionally maintained

In the rear, well-maintained garden, there is a fire pit with seating, a raised herb bed, several benches and chairs, a hammock, a hanging swing, a ping-pong table and a grass court with a volleyball net for ball games (balls, ping-pong bats, petanque, croquet, skittles and other games can be rented free of charge for guests)

The living space of the cottage is connected to the atrium and the garden by a large French window

About 200 meters from our cottage you will find a nice sports area with tennis and beach volleyball courts.

Accommodation in the Cottage

Bedrooms and rooms: The cottage offers accommodation for a total of 16 people in 4 separate bedrooms

All living rooms are on one level with the garden

The stylishly furnished interior of the cottage combines antique pieces of furniture and contemporary modern accommodation standards

Guests have access to a spacious kitchen, equipped with a modern corner kitchen unit and a dining table with chairs

The kitchen is connected directly to the atrium and the garden through a large French window, where you will find another large dining table with a bench and chairs

A spacious living room with an open fireplace, a large dining table and chairs, a corner sofa set, an equipped library, armchairs, a chest of drawers and an LCD TV with USB output is also used for joint sitting.

There are 4 separate bedrooms available for guests to sleep over

Each of them has beds for 4 people, always 1 double bed and 2 single beds (or

1 bunk bed)

Each bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe, bedside tables and a chest of drawers or other storage space.

One large bathroom with bath and shower, two sinks and toilet, another smaller bathroom with shower, sink and toilet

Hot water is heated by 2 electric boilers.

Heating: The cottage is heated by a gas boiler, which is located in the utility room, and partially by electric direct heaters

All living rooms are equipped with radiators with thermostatic heads

You can also warm up with an open fireplace in the living room

Wood for the fireplace is ready for guests.

Transportation, parking: The cottage is in the center of the village, parking is possible on the driveway - a maximum of 3 cars.

With a larger number of cars, then in the municipal parking lot.

Dining

Meals are available in your own comfortably equipped kitchen

Smaller shops are right in the village, larger ones in Jedovnice or Blansko

There is an inn and restaurant Tumperek with a summer garden in the village of Rudice, and there are a number of other dining options nearby

Right by the Olšovec pond with a wonderful view of the water and a children's playground, we recommend the Barachov restaurant and further along the water, an excellent restaurant with a garden, Surfbar (our favorite).
