We present to you our beloved log house Ratměřice
Our heart's place, which we built fifteen years ago and since then we have been enjoying and refining with full gulps and love
The log house is located in a charming semi-seclusion with a breathtaking view of the undulating landscape, surrounding pastures, forests and fields
Behind it is protected by two huge sequoia trees of the castle park and a roe deer park, over the hill the fabulous mountain Blaník
You won't find absolute peace and privacy here
You can get here from Prague in about an hour
The log cabin sits in the middle of a large well maintained and fully fenced garden (5000 m²) with mature trees providing plenty of shade
The outdoor terrace, covered by a pergola, offers you to sit in a spacious soft sofa, which can be rearranged into a 180x200cm airport and thus create outdoor sleeping under a mosquito net... A massive wooden table is the center for joint feasting for 12 people
There is a Big Green Egg grill, a smokehouse from a wine barrel, a large fireplace and a kettle in which you can cook, for example, goulash
In summer, the garden will offer you a harvest of raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and cherries
As part of the standard vacation rental advertised here, we are happy to welcome respectful visitors who want to relax and have civilized fun here
What we do not accept, on the other hand, is the renting of the cottage for organizing wild parties, renting to third parties, visits beyond the maximum number of 10 accommodated persons, holding any public events, filming or photographing materials intended for public or commercial use...
The cottage can also be rented for these purposes, but under different conditions...
Bedrooms and rooms: Roubenc is dominated by a living room open to the roof with a kitchen, stove and fireplace
On the ground floor you will find 1 bedroom with a "wall to wall" bed 280 X 200 cm, a bathroom with a bathtub and a toilet
On the first floor there is one large room - 2 x 180 cm bed and 1 x 160 cm bed
So 8 - 10 people / 2 families can sleep comfortably here
A Finnish sauna with a cooling bath is available on the ground floor, or you can fill up an outdoor ice bath to cool off.
Sanitary facilities: 1 bathroom with toilet, with a large bathtub, also serving as a cooling pool for the sauna.
Heating: Heating possible by fireplace and stove, direct heater in the bedroom, underfloor heating in the main room and in the bathroom
In the heating season, the cottage is heated to 15C, and guests heat themselves with a stove and a wood-burning fireplace, which is available to create thermal comfort.
Transportation, parking: Parking for 10 or more cars in the garden

The great advantage of the location of the log house is its neighborhood with the Ratměřice Castle, where you can find the fantastic restaurant Sequoia for discerning clients and a bistro for cyclists
Another great place to eat and hang out is Zájezdní Hostinec Starý Svět (10 km), or the famous Inn at Matoušků in Kondrac (12 km)
And if you want to have a draft beer in the evening, then you can take a short walk to a traditional local pub (500m) with outdoor seating
For your own cooking, you have an outdoor grill, a smokehouse, a fireplace with a kettle and an induction hob inside, an oven, a contact grill, a fondue set, a raclette set, a stove with a hot plate and an oven.
The kitchen is fully equipped with both crockery and basic food if you forget something...
Bed linen and towels included in the price
The garden and terrace of the building are monitored by cameras with video and audio recording for our ability to detect uninvited visitors and possible complaints from neighbors about the noise level
It is not our hobby to watch guests, but unfortunately experience has taught us to be careful....
