Cottage Dřevěnice u Medvěda

Are you going to wander around Horehroním? In that case, we offer you our traditional accommodation in Drevenice u Medveida, located in the village of Polomka

This location is the ideal starting point from which you can set off every day on a new adventure - whether on foot, by bike or on skis

We are happy to rent the wooden house near Medveľa, which has undergone interior renovation, throughout the year

Here you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday

On the ground floor there is a living area with a sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a washing machine

All rooms are located on the first floor

Prepare a Horehron "potato lady" and relax with a cup of herbal tea

In the kitchen, you will be helped with cooking and baking by a ceramic hob, a remoska pan, an electric kettle, a combined refrigerator, a microwave oven and a coffee machine.

There is also a handy helper – a dishwasher

A wooden staircase leads you to the attic part, where there is a living room with a sofa and a TV - here you can sleep comfortably on a single bed and a sofa bed

The double bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and in the triple bedroom you will find, in addition to a double bed and a single bed, a tiled stove - romance guaranteed

The smallest member of the expedition sleeps comfortably in a cot

And to keep you pleasantly warm everywhere, an air conditioning unit is installed in each of the rooms

We recommend wearing slippers on the ground floor

The cottage is equipped with internet and we have a Nintendo for the TV, which will entertain both young and old

Groceries and Bumbaras restaurant are not far, but if you don't want to walk, there are two bicycles available

You can enjoy the sunshine and the comfort of home in the yard, where you can barbecue, play petanque and badminton

From the porch you will have a great view of the Bučník ski center slopes

In the early evening, go for a beer at Club Peklo or a nice pizza at Pizzeria Biondo (Závádka nad Hronom)

They also cook excellently in the Bučník resort

The parking space is located directly in the yard protected by a camera system

Get to know the surroundings and take a walk to the Polomské očko Observatory, step on the King's stick and feed the ground squirrels on the Muránská plain

You will also like the decoration of the Dobšinská ice cave and the Chmarošský viaduct in Telgárt - don't forget to have a delicious coffee at the Depo Café

You won't even have far to the popular Tále resort, where you can play golf and swim in the lake

If you want a non-traditional experience, we recommend a ride on the Čiernohronská železníčka or the Horehronské express, which also has a stop at Palcmanská Maš, for example

In winter, the groomed slopes of the local ski resort await you, but you can also ski at Telgárt or Mýt pod Ďumbierom

1 x four-bed room (1 x double bed and 1 x sofa bed for 2 people), this is a room with a TV

1 x single bed on the ground floor.

Sanitary facilities: Bathroom (shower, sink, washing machine, toilet).

Heating: Electric (heat pump), first floor 3 x wall unit + middle room fireplace stove, ground floor 2 x window unit + furnace

Transportation, parking: Year-round access by road

Own - equipped kitchen or restaurant in Polomka - Bumbaras, Club 66, Club Peklo and Penzion Bučník further in the vicinity e.g.

Pizzeria Biondo (Závadka nad Hronom).

The exterior of the cottage is under the supervision of a camera system.

The final accommodation price must be arranged directly with the property owner.

Availibility, fees, price specifications

The price does not include - tourist tax 1 Euro (25 CZK) person/night (except for children under 6).

A refundable deposit of 2,500 CZK (100 Euro) is required.

In the summer and winter season, the object is rented for a week, always from Saturday to Saturday (unless otherwise agreed).

Electricity and water included.

Wood for the fireplace and stove 10 Euro (250 CZK) stay (week, weekend price negotiable).

Bedding (pillow, duvet) is not part of the equipment.

Deposit for accommodation - required 50% in advance on account

The remaining 50% must be paid (i.e. credited to the account) no later than one day before the accommodation.

Cancellation fees:

Cancellation of the stay 20 calendar days or more before the stay - the entire amount paid is returned.

Cancellation less than 20 days and more than 7 days before arrival - 50% of the deposit paid is returned.

Cancellation 7 days or less before the stay - the entire deposit paid is forfeited.
