Cottage Kovárna

The building is a former forge, used almost until the revolution

After complete reconstruction, the building has two residential floors and an attic, it stands on the very edge of a peaceful village, far from noisy roads and the nearest neighbors are about 150 meters away

The village of Pěkná lies in the picturesque valley of the Vltava River, surrounded on one side by the Šumava National Park and on the other by the military district of Boletice

Thanks to this, it is certain that nature lovers could not get any closer to pure and undisturbed nature

The main goal of my efforts is not only to accommodate guests, but to offer the opportunity to actively spend their vacation in Šumava

With all that goes with it, it just depends on what one likes

I will rent you bicycles, cross-country skis and canoes, I will devise routes according to the level of difficulty, I will take you by boat to the Vltava river, I will guide you through the forest and I will try to get closer to the history of this place

I mediate unusual photography of animals and birds in the Šumava countryside (it's also close to the Bavarian National Park, if the photographers don't do well..

)

Accommodation in the Cottage

Bedrooms and rooms: The upper apartment is accessible from the main hallway and has its own bathroom and toilet

The spacious kitchen with a sofa bed is fully equipped with dishes, a stove and microwave, a fridge with a freezer and a spacious table with chairs

To warm up and create a romantic mood, you can sink into the fireplace stove

There are three bedrooms for this apartment and they each have three beds: one double bed and one single bed

One of these bedrooms is walk-through

There is one covered fire pit sitting area in front of the house and one covered porch in front of the entrance

On the ground floor there is a second apartment with two bedrooms, one for two people and the other for three

It is still possible to accommodate two more people on extra beds

The apartment also has its own entrance, its own part of the garden, two fully equipped kitchens, a living room with a fireplace, two private bathrooms with WC

It also includes a glazed terrace on the west side of the house and its own fireplace

You won't see the visitors of the upper apartment if you don't want to

There is a lockable storage room for bikes and skis in the annex behind the house for all visitors.

Sanitary facilities: All three bathrooms in the building are equipped with a sink, shower and toilet

A washing machine and dryer are available in the utility room on the ground floor

Another fully equipped bathroom is in the sauna.

Heating: Heating provided by central heating, possibility of additional heating in the fireplace stove.

Transportation, parking: Parking is right next to the building and is free.

Dining

You can cook yourself in fully equipped kitchens with stove and oven, microwave oven, kettle

If necessary, we can arrive to buy breakfast and dinner after prior arrangement.

Cottage furnishings

The kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, a kettle and a microwave oven and of course a fridge

We rent bikes and canoes

We will deliver and bring you with boats to the river and back

Equipment for barbecuing on a stone and roasting dumplings, garden deckchairs, smokehouse

Luxury sauna for 8 people, with bathroom, heated rest room and terrace

Natural swimming pool 25m3, depth 1.7m.

Availibility, fees, price specifications

The price only for the upper apartment for 12 people is NOK 20,000/week in high season

In the lower apartment for 7 people, the price is CZK 14,000/week in high season, or CZK 500 per person and night in low season

During holidays and winter, the price per day is min

2000 CZK.

During the holidays, if possible only weekly stays, but it is not a condition

Recreation fees are included in the price of accommodation.

We only have room for dogs in the lower apartment.
