In the summer, it is used by guests who are looking for mountain tourism and cycling
The most attractive destination is the highest mountain of the Czech Republic - Sněžka, 9 km away and many other tourist destinations
Cyclists will appreciate the possibility of using cycle buses, which they can use to take them out
Malá Úpa is a mushroom paradise in season, and the ubiquitous forests also offer blueberry picking
In winter, 35 km of groomed cross-country trails are offered (the trail sign is approx. 200 m from the cottage) as well as skiing in the nearby ski area - approx. 600 m
Upon agreement, it is possible to take the skis away with our scooter.
Bedrooms and rooms: The cottage has 5 rooms, 2x double, 2x triple and 1x quadruple
The rooms are located on the floor where there is also a common kitchen available for self-catering guests
There is a dining room on the ground floor (available with ordered meals)
Breakfast and dinner are served here, and if you are interested, refreshments are also served - draft beer, homemade lemonades, excellent wine from a winemaker from Moravia, and various desserts upon agreement.

In summer, it is possible to sit outside in front of the cottage by the fireplace.
Sanitary facilities: Each room has its own bathroom with toilet
Towels, bath towels, toilet paper are included.
Heating: The building is heated by a heat pump
For the atmosphere, in the winter months, if possible, it is heated in the fireplace, which is located in the dining room
Skis and cross-country boots are dried in the ski room - electric dryers.
Transportation, parking: In summer, it is possible to drive and park directly at the building for a fee of CZK 30 per day
There are 5 parking spaces at the building
The cottage is located on the territory of KRNAP, and therefore parking is limited
In winter, there is an access road for skiers, cross-country skiers and sledders, and the car must be parked in the Spálený Mlýn parking lot, approx. 2 km from the cottage
Luggage is taken out and taken to the car for guests on the day of arrival and departure free of charge (for a stay of more than 5 nights)

Unfortunately, there is no store in Malá Úpa yet, it is a good idea to shop on the way in nearby Trutnov
2 restaurants are approx. 150m from the cottage, the popular Trautenberk brewery with a beer shop and restaurant is 3 km away

However, we offer the option of breakfast or half board - used by almost 100% of guests and they are very satisfied.
