The "Richterhof" cottage is located at an altitude of 560 m

by a small, dead-end road leading from the valley of the village of Dolní Dvůr and ending at the border of KRNAP, which starts about 300 meters above the cottage

There is a private parking lot right next to the house for up to 6 cars, so even if you come to us as a couple or solo, you won't have any problems with parking

It's so quiet around the Richterhof that we once started calling it the "Sleeping Spa" and it's stuck

There are only two cottages between us and the KRNAP border - otherwise there are only forest animals around, which will very likely pass through your garden

It is really big, it flows freely into the forest, and a beautiful mountain stream flows through it

The house itself was built at the beginning of the 20th century and was gradually modified, but fortunately it did not lose the character of the Krkonoše half-timbered building

Currently, it provides very comfortable holiday accommodation for max

10 accommodated

But it is absolutely optimal for two families - 4 adults in two large bedrooms with double beds, 4 children in two smaller bedrooms with bunk beds

There is a third bed in each large bedroom, should there be more children per family than the national average

All bedrooms are in the attic, accessed by a wooden staircase from the hallway

On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a corridor, a modern kitchen with a round dining table for 4, a large living room with a tiled fireplace, a large dining table for up to 10, seating furniture and a TV with DVD (we do not have a TV signal).

Furthermore, on the ground floor there are two bathrooms with showers and toilets, and a room with an infrared sauna

Outside there is a shed, which, among other things, has a barbecue and folding garden furniture

The house is heated automatically by a heat pump, which also produces hot water

WiFi is available, the GSM signal from most operators works very well in our mountain conditions

Depending on the number of people, you will have bed linen and towels prepared

The road to the house is municipal, asphalt, maintained by the municipality in winter, so you can reach the house in any season

But if it's really cold, it's better to have snow chains with you if you don't have a 4x4 drive. The road to us goes uphill, and even if it's bumpy, there can be a thin layer of snow or frost on it - there's no salt near KRNAP

If you are going on a skiing holiday, in Dolní Dvor there are mainly beginner terrains, suitable for teaching small children (there is also a ski school here), but it is only 18 minutes by car to Herlíkovice to our favorite ski slope, and another 10 to Špindl pod Hromovka. on the opposite side, you can reach Černý Dol in 12 minutes, Jánek pod sedačka in another 8. Everywhere is a short distance from us, and at the same time you don't have any of the circus that takes place there under your windows (even in the village)

In Vrchlabí, a running loop is maintained by the new football field

If you want to come in the summer, the road you will take to come to us continues through the forest as a forest road and then the trail continues to the ridge to the grouse huts, and from there wherever your legs - or bikes - will take you

Swimming is of course possible in the pools in Jilemnice or Špindl, but our favorite tip is the great forest swimming pool in Dolní Kalná

The nearest tennis courts are in Vrchlabí, a good tennis center is in Hostinné, where you can also find a shooting range

Golf is played on a small course in Proscekné, and then, of course, in Mladý Buká

And mushrooms and blueberries grow all around, if it rains at least a little

You can sleep and read in the Richterhof in any weather.

Accommodation in the Cottage

Bedrooms and rooms: 4 bedrooms

Two large, each with one double bed and one single bed

Two smaller ones, with bunk beds

A folding travel cot is available.

Sanitary facilities: Two bathrooms - each with a sink on the toilet cabinet, toilet and shower

We rent towels and bed linen together with the house in the number of sets according to the reported number of people.

Heating: Automatic central heating with a heat pump

In addition, there is a tiled stove in the living room.

Transportation, parking: Access via an asphalt municipal road, parking for up to 6 cars.

Two to three restaurants cook in the village during the season, and a number of restaurants in Vrchlabí year-round.

Availibility, fees, price specifications

In the summer and winter season, the building is rented for at least a week, always from Saturday to Saturday

Outside the summer and winter seasons, a shorter rental is also possible by agreement, but for at least three nights

For stays outside the season, but during public holidays or school holidays, the price per night applies as in the season

The price of the stay is final and includes rent, utilities and all fees.

When booking a stay, 50% of the price of the stay is paid by transfer to our account

As long as this part of the price is not credited to our account, the object is not reserved for you and we can rent it to another tenant on the date requested by you without further notice

The remaining 50% of the price of the stay is paid by transfer to our account no later than 14 days before the booked start of the stay

If this part of the price is not credited to our account in the summer period, we can consider your reservation as canceled by you without further notice and rent the object to another tenant on the date requested by you

If you request to cancel your reservation 30 days or more before the booked start of your stay, we will refund you the entire amount paid up to that time

If you request to cancel your reservation 14 days or more before the booked start of your stay, we will refund you 50% of the amount paid up to that time

If you request to cancel your reservation 13 days or less before the booked start of your stay, we will refund the amounts you have paid to us only if we manage to rent the object for the entire period for which we have reserved the object for you.

If you make a reservation less than 30 days before the booked start of the stay, the entire price of the stay is paid by transfer to our account at once, and the reservation will not be made until the entire price is credited to our account; until then, we can rent the object to another tenant on the date requested by you without further notice.

Together with the last installment of the accommodation price, a deposit of CZK 3,000 is deposited with a transfer to our account intended to cover any damage caused to the property, its equipment and equipment during your stay

If such damage is not detected upon your departure or during cleaning after it, the security deposit will be returned to you immediately by transfer back to your account

If they are found, we will keep the deposit to cover the costs of removing them and then refund the difference between the costs of removing the damage and the amount of the deposit, if any, by transfer to your account

Posting a security deposit does not release you from responsibility for the full amount of damages.
