The massive Renaissance one-story building was built by the knight Mikuláš Vitanovský at the beginning of the 17th century (roughly 1605) as a noble residence

It included a boatyard, a brewery with a malthouse and a distillery

It was later converted into a chateau in the Baroque style

During its history, it was owned, among others, by the Vitanov family, the Doudleb family and the Ditrichštejn family

Čepřovice Fortress is now briefly connected by ownership and is waiting for its unification and perhaps a new purpose

The northern part is now newly designated for rent

By staying here, you contribute to the overall restoration of the fortress

It is suitable for those who appreciate the original atmosphere of the built-in first-republic interior, sleeping on the stove and will be tolerant of the small manners of the old house, which is still awaiting major reconstruction

The apartment is ideal for a family holiday or a stay with friends (4 - 6 people).

The apartment is in the northern part of the fortress with a separate entrance, yard and parking.

There is a shower, toilet, washing machine.

Only service water flows from the tap in the house

Drinking water in 5l barrels is always available in the pantry.

More than a meter long walls serve as sufficient air conditioning and the house is cooler

If you are cold, you can warm up in the stove (wood costs CZK 300 per heating day).

In addition, an additional charge of CZK 100 is required for washing 1 piece of bed linen (depending on the number of guests) and CZK 500 for final cleaning
