The log cabin is located in the heart of the village of Albrechtice in the Jizera Mountains

It is a very quiet location, from which you can easily reach the Tanvaldský Špičák ski area on foot in a few minutes.

At the same time, there are numerous restaurants, a pastry shop or a grocery store near the cottage, where you can find everything you need

The village and its surroundings offer many opportunities for an active and peaceful holiday all year round

In the winter season, it is mainly downhill skiing or snowboarding, when in Albrechtice, in addition to Tanvaldské Špičák, there are other quieter ski resorts, for example the Detoa ski area or Světlý vrch, and cross-country skiing, when it is possible to get from Albrechtice within a comfortable driving distance or by train to the Jizerská magistrál

In the summer, there are many options for going for mushrooms or for a leisurely walk in the local forests, or where to go for a swim, whether it is a refreshing natural swimming pool in Lučany nad Nisou or a large water park in Jablonec

There are many hiking routes and destinations in the Jizera Mountains around the village and in the surrounding villages, including the famous Jizerka.

Relatively recently, flowtrail tracks opened here directly on Tanvaldský Špičák

There is a bicycle and complete ski equipment rental right in the village

Accommodation in the Cottage

Bedrooms and rooms: The log cabin has three bedrooms, two are located in the attic, the third is located on the ground floor

There are two beds in each of these rooms

One room in the attic has a double bed, the other two have separate beds

In rooms with separate beds, you can sleep on a pull-out bed

However, if any of the guests would like more privacy, it is possible to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room

All bedrooms are airy, simply and functionally equipped with ample storage space

Apart from the bedrooms, there is a hall on the ground floor, a room where the kitchen is connected to the dining room and which also serves as a common room, one bathroom and a technical room

Skis and bikes can be stored together with a parked car in the spacious garage.

Sanitary facilities: In the cottage there is one bathroom on the ground floor, in which there is a toilet together with a sink and a shower.

Heating: The entire building is heated by electric direct heaters

There is underfloor heating in the bathroom

Paid from the refundable deposit at the end of the stay according to actual consumption

There is a tiled stove in the living room, but it is not allowed to heat in it because of damage to the stove or the entire cottage!

Transportation, parking: Parking is right next to the cottage for two cars, one indoor parking in the garage and the other outdoor parking in front of the garage

The cottage is located on a hillside

Although the road is maintained, it can happen that a lot of snow falls overnight, so in winter we recommend taking snow chains with you, a car with a 4x4 drive should have no problem going up the hill.

Dining

The kitchen is fully equipped and suitable for preparing food at home

However, if you don't feel like cooking, there are plenty of restaurants near the cottage where you can eat well

Just a few minutes' walk from the cottage are grocery stores that are open seven days a week

Here you can buy fresh salty and sweet pastries, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, fruit and vegetables, basic hygiene items and daily newspapers here every day

In Tanvald, a ten-minute drive from the city, there is a Billa or a Lidl.

Cottage furnishings

The interior of the cottage is built in a traditional mountain style, where natural materials, especially wood, predominate

The kitchen is equipped with a glass-ceramic hob, dishwasher, electric kettle, electric and microwave oven, Tchibo coffee machine, fridge and freezer

The kitchen is seamlessly connected to the dining room with a large wooden table, chairs and a corner bench, where all staying guests can comfortably gather for a meal or an evening glass of wine

You can relax after a hard day watching TV in an armchair or on the sofa bed

You will only find basic programs on the TV, it is possible to connect an external disk to the TV via USB or HDMI

However, Svetnica and the entire cottage are dominated by a large tiled stove, see photo

WiFi is not available in the cottage, but you can devote more time to joint activities, you can talk more and forget the worries of everyday life

Many popular board and card games are available at the cottage

A map of the Jizera Mountains is also provided, according to which you can plan a cycling, walking or cross-country trip

In winter, your children can rent sledges freely

The cottage is timber-framed and is entirely made of wood, so smoking and handling open flames are strictly prohibited inside the cottage

It is also not allowed to go to the cottage with your pets

The entire cottage is protected by a security system connected to a centralized protection desk (PCO).

Operating Fees and General Information:

The rental price includes a fee to the village of Albrechtice in the Jizerské hory, bed linen, towels and final cleaning.

The price for a weekly stay is valid for occupancy of max

6 people

Each additional person pays 2000 CZK/stay.

A deposit of CZK 5,000 is payable upon arrival, this deposit also serves as a deposit for utilities (electricity)

Energy is paid according to actual consumption

Upon departure, the rest of the money will be returned to the guests after deducting the energy.

The starting day for a weekly stay is Saturday at 4 p.m., the end of the stay is Saturday at 10 a.m.

Payments and cancellation fees:

A deposit of 50% of the final amount for accommodation must be paid to a bank account within seven days after the booking has been confirmed by the landlord

If the required amount is not paid by the required date, the lessor is entitled to offer the given date to other interested parties

The additional amount and the refundable deposit can be paid either in cash or by bank transfer before boarding.

When canceling a reservation:

30 or more days before the start date, 100% of the deposit is returned.

15-30 days before the start date, 50% of the deposit is returned

If the appointment is taken by someone else, the remaining 50% will be refunded.

Less than 15 days before the starting date, the deposit is returned only if the given date can be filled by another interested party

In all other cases, the deposit is forfeited.

In the event of cancellation of the stay due to government regulations related to the current pandemic situation, the deposit is returned to the applicant in full.
