The Stropnice cottage is located in the U Želízků cottage area, not far from the shore of the quiet river Stropnice
It offers accommodation for lovers of nature, hiking and cycling, but also for relaxing with friends in the middle of a quiet forest
The cottage is designed in the classic Czech cottage style, but the interior reconstruction gave it the comfort of the present day
In the immediate vicinity of the cottage, mushroom pickers can find a living (mushrooms grow abundantly even on their own property), as well as a green tourist sign that will take you to several picturesque viewpoints and also to a historical military fortification
The cottage is only about a 20-minute drive from the city of České Budějovice, where you can find a full range of cultural activities
The picturesque surrounding villages are definitely worth exploring
In the summer, weekly stays for our cottage are set from SUNDAY to SUNDAY, please respect this when choosing the dates, thank you for your understanding.
Bedrooms and rooms: A total of 2 bedrooms are located on the first floor of the cottage
The large bedroom has 2 double (double) beds and the small bedroom has 2 classic single beds
The bedrooms are separated from each other by a small corridor and door, so some privacy is maintained
An extra bed is available to guests in the living room in the form of a sofa bed with a pull-out mattress
We can also prepare a cot
We provide guests with bed linen and towels free of charge.
Sanitary facilities: The cottage is equipped with a bathroom with a spacious shower, sink and toilet
We remind visitors that the water from the tap is not drinkable, but only useful
We provide drinking water in barrels.
Heating: The building can be heated with a portable gas stove, an electric direct heater and a fireplace.
Transportation, parking: Our guests can park their cars right next to the cottage (2 cars can comfortably fit here) and possibly also on the spot in the forest opposite (for 2 cars).
The nearest store in the form of a small convenience store can be found in the village of Strážkovice
Due to the proximity of the city of České Budějovice, you can conveniently shop there as well
The nearest restaurant is Hospůdka u Elvise, again in the village of Strážkovice.
In the cozy kitchen you will find a gas stove with an electric oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, a microwave oven and a coffee machine for drip coffee
The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils for cooking, baking and serving
A television with a satellite receiver is available to guests in the living room
Outside, a spacious swimming pool and a private children's playground await you.

We collect a refundable deposit of CZK 2,000 from guests
Electricity consumption in the amount of 7 CZK per 1 kWh is added to the price of the stay (wood and gas consumption are free).
