Cabin na Šmelcovně

Cottage Šmelcovna is hidden in the middle of the forest in the picturesque White Creek Valley in a nature reserve, near Veverská Bítýška

There is not only a stream within reach, but also a clean well, nature, old galleries and the remains of foundries in the forest can be seen.

The cottage itself is after a complete reconstruction

On the plot there is an indoor swimming pool with a depth of 120 cm, equipped pergola, smokehouse, fireplace and kettle, garden with vegetables, small fruits and fresh herbs

In the garden there is a playground with a trampoline, a sandpit, a bouncy castle, a children's house, toys and a small mobile pool.

The cottage is equipped with a children's corner and overall the cottage is ready for recreation with children

Toilet for the youngest, barriers at the bed, night lighting, children's railings, bath, high chair, etc.

The land is partially fenced

On a walk through the woods you collect mushrooms and you can meet Newts, which testifies to the local purity of nature

Bílý potok is a trout, and more able fishermen can catch dinner here

Šmelcovna is on an attractive tourist route, walking and mainly cycling

More demanding bikers can ride the marked routes of the legendary Tour de Javůrek or Svatoslavská Šlapka

Five minutes walk is Hostinec U Čadíku, where there is an open summer garden and still cooking inside on a tiled stove

Swimming is possible on the plot in the pool, for the hardy in the creek or in Hálov Mlýn (approx. 2.5 km), where there is a maintained swimming pool (free entry), football and tennis courts

Even in summer there is a pleasant coolness, you can spend your vacation just relaxing in the cottage or diversify it with trips in the area

And not only in nature, but also in nearby Brno (approx. 30km)

For example, a steamboat trip along the Brno dam, Veveří Castle, the Brno Zoo, the Holedná lookout tower and many others

In addition, you can save by combining visits to various attractions

During the summer holidays and in the surrounding villages, there are summer cinemas or pilgrimages.

Accommodation in the Cabin

Bedrooms and rooms: The cottage has three floors and is designed for 7 people (2 bedrooms)

On the ground floor there is a garage where you can store bikes, 2 stainless steel tables with a sink (eg

for cleaning fish) and bins

On the 1st floor is a spacious living room connected with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with toilet, hallway

The entire second floor serves as a second bedroom with a children's corner

In the lower bedroom there is a bed 200x160 and a cot

In the 2nd bedroom there is 1 bed 200x160.2x bed 200x80. New beds from May 2022

Sanitary facilities: Bathroom with shower, washing machine, toilet, sink, potty.

Heating: In winter, the building is heated by a solid fuel boiler with a storage tank of 900 l with central heating in the radiators and controlled by a thermostat

It is possible to flood inside in the fireplace all year round

In winter, the cottage is heated before arrival.

Transportation, parking: The road to the cottage is maintained, even in winter

There is a possibility to park 4 cars on the plot

The motorcycle can be parked in the garage.

Dining

A kilometer from the cottage is the restaurant U Čadíků where you can enjoy home cooking from Mrs. Marcelka

There is also a restaurant U Orátora in Lažánky, about 4 km from the cottage by a forest road where they also have excellent cuisine

100m from the cottage there is a well in which there is drinking water

From June 2022, the cottage will be equipped with a gas grill.

Cabin furnishings

The kitchen is equipped with a hot air oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher and equipped with utensils for 7 members, including children's plastic utensils

There is a smokehouse on the plot, where you can cook your own meat or cheese

TV connected to WiFi

We have a kennel ready for pets, which is located behind a fenced terrace before entering the cottage, so the dog will not run away (only small and medium breeds).

Cancellation Policy:

In cases where, according to the agreed contract for accommodation in the apartment, the customer is obliged to pay cancellation fees to the apartment operator, their amount is determined by the number of days from the decisive fact, which establishes the obligation to pay them until the beginning of the accommodation service.

The amount of severance pay is:

60 to 38 days 10% of the accommodation price

37 to 22 days 30% of the accommodation price

21 to 10 days 50% of the accommodation price

9 days and less 70% of the accommodation price.

Alternatively, we will be happy to arrange another accommodation with you
