Sušice is known as the gateway to Šumava

The main decoration of that gate is the Ottawa River :) As natives, it attracts us even after decades and we can't get enough of it

Today there are fewer trout and you would be panning for gold for a ring here for quite a long time, but silver can give you a daily look at the sparkling surface of the water

The property that we offer for accommodation for your vacations, leisure and active trips, or even business trips is located right on the waterfront and from all the windows you can see Otava and important places in Sušice

The building was recently a branch of KB, so materials were not spared

We have been tweaking and modifying the building for our activities for years, and although it is an endless story on such a large building, we can now offer good quality and we are more or less satisfied to such an extent that we expect your satisfaction as well :)

The views from the windows, the presence of the flowing river, the generous dimensions of the apartments, the condition of the building, the history of this listed building, the services related to the accommodation and the overall atmosphere of the city are the basis for the fact that you cannot expect disappointment from the choice of our accommodation

But not everything is just bathed in sunlight coming through the wooden windows of the apartments

The bridge over the Otava River is also the main route to the wilder Upper Šumava, so there is quite a lot of traffic here

If you are looking for a quiet place where only deer and owls can be heard, you can visit our other great accommodation, which is on Mount Svatobor, just above the town of Sušice

The apartments in Sušice are in the narrow center of the city, there are granite blocks in front of the house, which make more noise when cars pass by, and the noise itself is actually almost the only thing that can be less comfortable for guests

Then also the demandingness of the building for heating with electric direct heaters is an unfavorable topic, but it cannot be dismissed in the summer season :)

But where you will find the advantage in this urban accommodation is the cleanliness of the entire building

In the shop on the ground floor, we have an arsenal of cleaning products in the packaging-free shop, and even though they are of ECO quality, they work great, and thanks to them and the tireless energy of the people who take care of thorough cleaning, you can be sure that it will eventually end up on the floor

The facilities of the apartments are sufficient and you will find here most of what you may be looking for

Candles for romance, a first-aid kit for tin burns when baking bubbly or a basket for mushrooms, which can certainly come in handy thanks to the abundance of the surrounding forests

Each apartment has its own bathroom, a spacious corridor, enough space for larger groups and if you rent both floors, you are sure that you are alone in the building after the working hours of the lower shop and you can celebrate New Year's Eve in the summer, for example: D

However, we would like to deal with reasonable groups, quiet families and clashes with wild boars only during walks on the surrounding hills

The design and execution of the apartments is not revolutionary, the house was not built last year, some materials and pieces of furniture are recycling, which is very popular in our projects, but we believe that after your stay you will be a little happier than before your arrival :)

Accommodation in the Apartment

Bedrooms and rooms: The spacious floor has three bedrooms, a large hallway with storage space, a kitchen with a dining room and a bathroom with a separate toilet

The total area is about 160 meters

The smaller bedroom has two separate beds with a sofa bed for two more people

The middle bedroom is walk-through and also has two beds

The largest bedroom has one double bed and two twin beds

The total capacity is therefore 10 beds

If you are interested, we can supply less comfortable extra beds at a favorable price

This apartment is noisier, but there is also more light entering it, every time you look out of the window you seem to be in the center or in the river :)

The ground floor apartment is also generously sized and is divided into two smaller bedrooms with two single beds each, one larger bedroom with a double bed and a children's room with a cot for a baby and a raised floor for older children

The bedroom can be closed from the children's room with a sliding door

The kitchen with the dining table is not exactly the biggest, but sardines have less space :) This apartment has a total capacity of 6 adults and two children and possibly extra beds.

Sanitary facilities: The bathroom on the spacious floor has a shower box and a separate toilet, as well as a cleaning room

The ground floor apartment is equipped with a bathtub and an overall larger bathroom with a separate toilet

Both apartments have a boiler that is set to continuous mode

The washing machine uses a great EKO washing product, which you definitely don't take home in your bag, unless you buy it downstairs in the store in our packaging-free range: D

Heating: Heating is provided by electric direct heaters, of which there are around 60 units in the building

Please don't feed too much, there is a risk of their navels swelling: D

Transportation, parking: Due to the location of the building in the narrow center of the city, parking is not exactly a comfortable aspect of our building, but it always has a solution

In front of the entrance, we try to keep one place for unloading luggage and the crew, and then you can always find a place nearby where you can park your vehicle safely and free of charge

We will give you a parking map at the accommodation.

Dining

There is also an ice cream factory in the building, which can also be sent by elevator: D Packaging-free shop and for those who need to sleep better, relax more or lubricate their sunburned backs, we have a wide range of hemp products purely from our local handmade production

The intoxicating smell of cannabis does not flow through the risers, so don't look forward to thoughtless evenings of laughter and better pack a joke book

It can of course be supported with hemp tea, which you can always find in the kitchen section of quality teas and drinks from our production

Of course, everything you need for a carefree life without standing by the stove is nearby.

Apartment furnishings

You will also find a TV in the apartments

It is possible to tune into a certain channel, but mostly it is a channel

Better to look out the window.

Those internets are in every room, but it's better to leave them alone

In the immediate vicinity there is a high-speed connection to forest and river noises

In the kitchen you will find everything you need, including spices and a few basic foods

In the lower store, you can buy food in BIO quality without packaging at today's normal expensive prices.

Availibility, fees, price specifications

The basic and at the same time minimum price for renting an apartment is 2700 CZK when occupied by 2 people

Each additional person costs 550 CZK or 680 CZK/person/night

For longer stays, larger occupancy, children's stays, accommodation for disabled groups and other specific stays, we always lower the price, so don't hesitate to specify your request

For romantic stays for two, contact us, we have other accommodation options

We are VAT payers, the invoice is a matter of course

Overall we prefer larger groups

We do not want to charge cancellation fees, but it is necessary to warn sufficiently in advance of the possibility that your holiday is at risk

Canceling the reservation a few days before the arrival date will cost you something, but in case the apartment is quickly occupied by someone else, we do not charge :)

Payment for the reservation is in full

For each stay you will receive a package of products from our production
